sketch out - chinatown 150610

First of all, I did not mess around with the nipples of the statue, there were really 7 dots around each of them.

Today's trip to chinatown was alittle disappointing for myself, being that i weren't able to achieve two of my objectives. First, i was looking for a ultra unpopular compilation album, but too bad most of the CD shops over at chinatown had been wipe out by travel agency and foot massage services. Then i was hoping to finally eat some authetic cantonese porridge but the store was closed for the day.

However i did have a rather amusing encounter whereby i went to one of 3 CD shops i've found in chinatown and asked the shop attendant, whom is an old man, for help.

Conversation in Mandarin.

Me: Hello, do you have this...blar blar blar...album in your store?
Uncle: (Looked at the rack behind for awhile) No.
Me: Do you know of other shops around here?
Uncle: mm...only pirated ones i believe.
Me: Oh...err...its ok. As long as i can find it.
Uncle: mm...maybe you can try 313.
Me: (Only in my mind I thought) 313? Is that a block in chinatown?
Uncle: 313, Orchard. I have more confidence in that place.

I went to chinatown in search of a ultra unpopular album and this old man advised me to go 313 orchard???
